Terms of Service
Summary: Archive Origin is a ledger-backed media service. Records are private by default. When you share a record, you control who receives access.
1. Service
Archive Origin provides tools to upload media, generate cryptographic hashes and verification metadata, and store a corresponding evidence record.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- You may not attempt to access accounts or records that you do not own or that have not been shared with you.
3. Content
- You retain your rights to your content.
- You grant Archive Origin a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the service (including generating previews and verification pages).
- Records are private by default; sharing is explicit.
4. Prohibited use
See the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies.
5. Quotas
Accounts include a storage quota (default 1 GB). Uploads exceeding quota may be blocked.
6. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to protect users, comply with law, or enforce policies. You may delete your account from the iOS app.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” without warranties. Verification metadata indicates integrity of stored artifacts but does not guarantee truthfulness of any statements associated with the content.
